Normally there is a signup form for sitters right here. However, we are in the process of moving your profiles into a newer, better, more thorough format. To get access to the new sign up form, please email us at info@sittersplace.com or by using this email form.

Note as of 01/13/08: Any of you who have signed up in the past week or so will not be listed on the current sitter page because I do not want to duplicate efforts. I will be emailing you shortly with the instructions on how to fill out one of the new profiles. -Liz

Sitter Options

Basic Package
Cost: Free
Description: Create a profile. List your experience, availability, rates. Parents can view your profile and contact you if they are interested.

Premium Package
Cost: $5.99 a month
Description: Don't wait for parents to contact you. Get unlimited access to jobs parents post on the website and you can contact them directly.

Special Note: Sitters, please also check out our profile page. If you would like to be listed, please give us the same information as the sitters listed there currently, including a photo of any size.

*We reserve the right to correct, edit, and change the information you write before it is posted online. You will be able to contact us about any changes you would like made.

Parent Options

Package A
Annual: $69.99 a year + no set up fee
Description: Unlimited access to the site to view sitter profiles and post jobs. Each sitters place profile includes rates, availability, experience, references, and more.

Special Note: Since our site is not yet full-featured, your membership will start upon receipt of your payment, but the "year" will be counted starting when this website is finished in a few weeks.

Package B
Monthly: $7.99 a month + $29.99 set up fee
Description: If you would rather pay monthly, we give you that option. The same full-featured access to the site applies.

One-Time Use
Price: $19.99 each listing
Description: If you just have a one time need, you just want to try it out once, or you know someone with kids who is coming into to town, this is a way to use the service.



*Signing up and posting your job is free. This is how it will work.
  1. Submit your babysitting needs for free.
  2. Your posting will be listed online with no personal information. see example
  3. Sitters will be notified of the new posting.
  4. We will send you the sitter profiles that are interested in your job by email.
  5. You can decide on a membership package.
  6. We will send you the contact information for the sitters interested in your job and any of the sitters you are interested in from the profile page.
  7. You begin the selection process.
