With ten years of experience, multiple classes and student teaching opportunities under my belt, I am confident with my skills. Before moving to the area a couple of months ago, I actively worked with many families, most of whom I have worked with for multiple years. Each of the families came from very different backgrounds. I have worked with families of teens, preteens, school aged children, toddlers and infants. Additionally, some have had learning disorders, physical disabilities, families of twins (try two sets!), potty training, and homework that I have been able to be of assistance to. I have volunteered one semester in a local preschool, one semester in a lo cal elementary school, one semester at Safetyville USA-- a not for profit organization that teaches children the importance of safety in the home, at school and in the community, volunteered for two years as a Sunday school teacher and am finishing up a year of volunteering in the church nursery (18 mos - 3 years) as well.
